Geely’s Zeekr EV (ZE: Stands for Zero, the starting point of infinite possibilities, E: Stands for Evolving the Electric Era, KR: Stands for Krypton, a rare gas that emits light when electrified) is a Chinese brand that makes special electric cars.
It started in 2021 and is owned by Geely Automobile Holdings. Zeekr’s cars are built on the Sustainable Experience Architecture (SEA), which focuses on electric vehicles.

In October 2021, Geely’s Zeekr EV began selling its first model, the 001. Originally, this car was supposed to be sold by Lynk & Co, another brand owned by the same company. By 2022, Geely’s Zeekr EV had sold 71,941 001 vehicles to customers in more than 330 cities across China.

The name Zeekr comes from “Generation Z” and “geek.”
